Our school community Mission Statement is...'Learning and growing together with Jesus.' We are an inclusive school where children are immersed in a diverse learning community with wellbeing and learning at the heart of everything we do.
Our Early Learners (Foundation Phase ages 3 - 7) have an excellent outdoor provision that is used all day, and large, light, ventilated and well resourced indoor classrooms. Our Juniors (Key Stage 2 ages 7 - 11) have a new Wales curriculum to look forward to with more practical learning opportunities. We have a large outdoor classroom area for our pupils and enough chrome books, i-pads and desktop computers for children to access one during a lesson if needed during their learning day.
Wales introduced a brand new curriculum in September 2022. It centres around the Four Purposes of what we, Parents and Educators want our young people to achieve during their learning journey's both at home and in school. We will teach our pupils to become;
Ambitious, Capable Learners.
Enterprising, Creative Contibutors.
Healthy Confident Individuals.
Ethical, Informed Citizens.
We aim for high standards so that all children can reach their true potential in every aspect of school life. The school works very closely with Parents, Carer's, Grandparents, the Parish, Governors and the Local Community to strive for the very best for our children.
Our school is at the heart of the Parish of St Anthony of Padua in the Wrexham Diocese; the church itself is situated opposite the school site. We aspire to be good role models in the presence of Jesus, to help and guide all children on their spiritual journey to become the people that God wants them to be.
